Owenwinny Wind Farm - Turbine Blade Transport January 2023
Oweninny 2 has just completed the transportation of all components to site with Andrew McCullough and Mar-Train. The turbine blades are transported 3 at a time, over the 180km from Killybegs to Owenwinny Wind Farm at night with a Garda escort.

Oweninny Wind Farm is owned by Oweninny Power DAC, a 50:50 joint venture between ESB and Bord na Móna. Phase 2 of the project is nearing completion with the last of the 31 turbines being craned into place in January 2023.

In November 2021, Sisk completed Alexandra Road Bridge at Dublin Port. The project involved the construction of a 150m long, 13m wide two-lane vehicular bridge with access ramps over Alexandra Road connecting the CDL yard and Terminal 4. The video shows the construction from start to finish.

New underbridge on Cork to Dublin rail line. A new under bridge has been installed under the main cork to Dublin rail line over the easter bank holiday weekend (2018). The underbridge was constructed in sections beside the rail line over the last few months by Sisk and Irish Rail. Work commenced at 00:30am on Friday morning and the track was reinstated by 10:00am on Monday.

The new trams will be a longer version of the type currently being used on the Green Line - increasing from 43 metres to 54.6 metres. This will allow for 60 additional passengers to be carried per tram - a total of 369 people per tram. Here we can see the first half of one of the new trams arriving to the Sandymount depot.

I worked on the two other line's and the port tunnel pumping the concrete wish I had of worked on this job aswell its the only job I have not worked on I did the bridges on the M50 too

Great piece of work - the roads and tracks look great, but more pedestrian provision would be nice. The footpath in front of the Bank of Ireland building (College Green) should be widened - it's a very busy pedestrian route. Also, should Parnell street not be made one way so as to speed up traffic and lessen conflict for the Luas line. With this in mind, should general traffic apart from buses be allowed turn into Parnell Square West - I'm by no means anti-car, but I've seen another video where the said turning traffic may by causing excess delays for the trams. It shouldn't really be a big deal for this northbound traffic to head west along Parnell Street towards Bolton Street.

As a Leinster fan, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't extremely jealous of Thomond Park stadium. Absolutely superb, world class facility. The best in Pro12 and anything England has to offer and one of the best in Europe.
